Our veterinarian will work with you and your family to personalize an individual plan for your pet.  Our goal is to keep you and your pet as comfortable as possible.  

There are many diseases that can affect your pet as they age.  It is our goal to make sure they receive the best medical care, and to keep them pain-free and comfortable.  Hospice consultations can be helpful for you and your pet in managing a variety of chronic diseases and conditions.  These can include - 

• Arthritis or mobility concerns
• Chronic diseases such as chronic kidney disease, liver disease, heart disease
• Cancer
• Behavioral changes with age, such as dementia, or cognitive dysfunction
• Hearing loss 
• Decreased vision or blindness

The hospice appointment will include a thorough exam and extensive review of your pets current and past medical history.  After the exam, we will offer recommendations for the next steps for your pet.  These can include medications for pain, inflammation, anxiety, appetite stimulants, and hydration.   

We understand that veterinary visits can be stressful for both you and your pet during this stage in their life. That's why we work hard to make sure they are comfortable in their own home.
